Vice President of Sales

Your Role Location: Phoenix, AZ – Onsite / Local to Phoenix Compensation: $180,000–$200,000 Base + Executive Incentive We are partnering with an established Phoenix organization seeking a VP of Sales to lead its sales organization while providing executive oversight of marketing and design . This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who can bring greater structure, accountability, and strategy to an established team while remaining actively involved with clients and major opportunities. Sales will be the primary focus, but this individual will also ensure that marketing, design, and sales operate as a connected commercial organization. Your Role Sales Leadership & Growth Own sales strategy, execution, forecasting, and revenue performance. Lead, coach, and develop an established sales team, creating clear expectations and accountability. Remain actively involved in strategic accounts, major pursuits, and key client relationships. Identify opportunities to grow market share, expand existing accounts, and develop new business. Establish meaningful KPIs and a disciplined approach to pipeline and performance management. Build a collaborative, high-performance sales culture. Marketing & Design Leadership Provide executive leadership and direction for the marketing and design functions. Ensure marketing strategy supports business development, client engagement, brand positioning, and sales objectives. Partner closely with design leadership to align creative solutions with client needs and commercial opportunities. Create stronger alignment across sales, marketing, and design so the organization presents a consistent strategy to the market. Help determine priorities, resources, and investments across these functions. Client & Market Leadership Build and maintain relationships with executive-level clients, strategic partners, and key influencers. Serve as a senior presence in complex, relationship-driven opportunities. Maintain a strong understanding of the Phoenix business community and competitive landscape. Work across leadership, operations, design, and project teams to ensure commitments made during the sales process translate into successful client outcomes. What You’ve Got 10+ years of progressive B2B sales and commercial leadership experience. Significant experience leading and developing successful sales teams. Proven success growing revenue in a relationship-driven, solution-oriented sales environment. Experience providing leadership or oversight across sales, marketing, and/or design functions . Strong business development instincts and the ability to build executive-level relationships. Experience with complex sales involving multiple stakeholders, customized solutions, and longer sales cycles. Strong strategic, financial, communication, and leadership skills. A hands-on leadership style — comfortable setting strategy while remaining close to clients and the team. Established knowledge of the Phoenix business community is strongly preferred. Preferred Background Experience in commercial interiors, workplace solutions, contract furniture, architecture and design, construction, commercial real estate, or another project-based B2B environment is highly desirable.
