Benefits Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: New York, NY (Fully Onsite)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 (based on experience) Overview Join a growing team and organization as a Benefits Coordinator supporting day-to-day HR operations and benefits administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who is comfortable working with HRIS systems, reporting, and employee benefits programs. Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Maintain and update employee benefit data within HRIS systems (Paycom) , ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports related to benefits, utilizing Excel and HR systems
- Analyze data trends and support reporting initiatives for HR and management
- Assist with open enrollment processes, including preparation of materials and tracking enrollments
- Develop presentations, materials, and videos to support employee education and benefits communication
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and plan details
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/carriers to support benefits administration Support audits, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of benefits-related data and deductions
- 3-5 years of HR or benefits administration experience
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience creating presentations and internal communications (videos/materials)
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with systems, data, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Systems-savvy and tech-comfortable
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
