Project Accountant

Our client is looking for a Project Accountant to partner with our Project Management Team and oversee the financial health of multiple construction projects from inception through completion. What You'll Do: Manage project budgets, job costs, forecasting, and financial reporting Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance and profitability Process vendor and subcontractor invoices while ensuring contract compliance Prepare client billings, including progress billing, and manage accounts receivableTrack retainage, change orders, and project contracts Prepare Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, reconciliations, and month-end financial reporting Support payroll allocations, compliance documentation, and project closeout activities Help ensure projects stay financially accurate, compliant, and on budget What They’re Looking For: 2+ years of accounting experience in construction or a project-based environment Knowledge of job costing, budgeting, and project financial reporting Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems Strong Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Bonus Points For: Experience with Procore or other construction management software Knowledge of AIA billing, retainage, lien waivers, and contract compliance Why You'll Love This Opportunity Be part of exciting, high-impact construction projects Work alongside a collaborative and supportive leadership team Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Stable organization with a fast-paced, team-oriented culture where your contributions make a real difference #J-18808-Ljbffr
