Location: San Jose, CA | Schedule: 1st shift, 8:30am to 5pm | Pay: $21/hour

As a Cleanroom Technician, you'll help manufacture high-quality electronic products while ensuring strict contamination control and quality standards are maintained. Every task you perform contributes to delivering reliable products that support today's most advanced technologies.

What You'll Do

As a member of the manufacturing operations team, you'll play a vital role in producing quality products by:

• Performing a variety of manufacturing and cleanroom assembly operations.

• Following all cleanroom procedures, safety policies, and contamination control protocols.

• Reading and interpreting work orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Work Instructions, Planned Deviation Reports, and Non-Conformance Reports.

• Setting up, operating, cleaning, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and tools.

• Using hand tools, air tools, and other production equipment safely and effectively.

• Performing in-process and final inspections to verify product quality and conformance.

• Identifying routine equipment or process issues and communicating concerns promptly to Team Leaders and Supervisors.

• Maintaining detailed, accurate production records and documentation.

• Moving between production operations and product lines based on manufacturing schedules.

• Supporting continuous improvement through strong housekeeping and adherence to clean room standards.

• Assisting with troubleshooting basic manufacturing defects and process issues.

• Training and mentoring new team members as needed.

• Applying company policies and procedures while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3+ years of related manufacturing or clean room experience.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, SOPs, blueprints, and technical documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and production tools.

• Ability to recognize manufacturing issues and communicate them effectively.

• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or other high-precision manufacturing environments.

• Experience working in ISO-certified clean room environments.

• Familiarity with quality systems, inspection techniques, and manufacturing documentation.

• Experience using air tools and precision assembly equipment.

• OSHA safety awareness or chemical handling experience.

• Previous experience training or mentoring new employees.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is performed in a manufacturing clean room environment and requires strict adherence to cleanliness and contamination control procedures. Team members may be exposed to manufacturing equipment, noise, chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures while following all company and OSHA safety guidelines.

The role requires:

• Standing and/or sitting for extended periods.

• Repetitive hand movements requiring excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Working with small, detailed components and technical documentation.

• Frequent use of manufacturing tools and equipment.

• Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Sustained visual concentration and attention to fine detail throughout the workday.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
