Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Department of Surgery - Division of Surgical Oncology.

• Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established General Surgery group of 10 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• This individual will fill an integral role with the operative team as first assistant to Oncologic surgeons including Robotic surgeons
• Responsibilities may also include clinic and hospital coverage (rounding, admitting and consulting) as needed
• Previous surgical experience preferred however new grads are encouraged to apply

Job Qualifications

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification
• DEA Required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
