Required Skills:

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with valid licensure.
• Critical Care or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Proven competence in pediatric cardiac and critical care procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle high-stakes situations with professionalism and compassion.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a Pediatric Cardiology or Intensive Care setting.
• Familiarity with pediatric mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g., ECMO, VAD).
• Experience with pediatric heart failure and transplantation management.
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric or cardiac critical care preferred.
• Experience working within a high-acuity PICU or CICU environment is a plus.

• Ability to work flexible hours including day shifts (5x13-hour days) starting August 3, 2026.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care at all times.
• Must maintain state licensure and certifications as required.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training related to pediatric cardiology.
