Sr. Manager, Partner Solution Consulting

About the Role As an AI Pod Manager, you will report to the Sr. Director of Partner AI Experience and lead a pod of Partner AI Architects, Partner AI Advisors, and Business Value Architects. You will partner with the Global Partner Organization to bring technical, functional, and quantitative depth that enables partner teams to confidently discuss Workday’s roadmap and AI capabilities, ensures seamless demos, sharpens positioning, and provides business‑case clarity for smart investments. Key Responsibilities Partner Readiness & Activation Ensure partner SC and architect teams have early visibility into Workday’s product roadmap and AI capabilities. Develop and deliver readiness programs—architect tier sessions and persona based playbooks—for CIO, CFO, and CHRO audiences. Ensure partner demo environments bridge seamlessly from Workday-delivered product to GSI-delivered solutions. Provide competitive positioning and field partner questions, functional and technical issues, to give partners confidence to move forward. Platform & Value Strategy Help partners understand Workday’s platform direction and make informed decisions about capability build‑out, certifications, and resourcing. Guide partners through the agentic AI opportunity on Sana, identify whitespace, prioritize use cases, and clarify building on Sana. Build joint business cases, quantify productivity gains from agentic workflows, and equip the partner’s value desk with Workday-specific ROI frameworks. GTM Alignment & Executive Engagement Support the GPO in maintaining regular cadence with GSI practice leaders, delivering technical depth to advance investment plans and surface joint go‑to‑market opportunities. Bring structured partner intelligence—practice priorities, competitive signals, and capability needs—to Workday’s GPO, Product & Technology and Partner Strategy teams. Represent Workday alongside partners at industry events, conferences, and partner forums, co‑presenting thought leadership. Pod Leadership & Development Lead and develop a pod of approximately six specialists, set clear strategy, priorities, and execution rhythm. Partner closely with Forward Deployed Partner Architect aligned to your GSI, coordinating on joint deals and ensuring pod work translates to deal‑level impact. Coach team members’ growth in product knowledge, partner engagement, and career development. About You Basic Qualifications 5+ years in presales, value management, or a similar role at Workday or comparable enterprise software company. 2+ years of people leadership or team mentorship experience. 2+ years working with or within Global System Integrators, large SIs, or strategic alliance partners. 2+ years domain expertise in HCM, Financials, ERP, or enterprise AI solutions. Other Qualifications Ability to engage credibly with GSI practice leadership, CTOs, and offering development leads as a trusted advisor. Strong knowledge of enterprise AI competitive dynamics and how Workday differentiates against key platforms. Experience designing and delivering partner readiness programs that build durable capability. Familiarity with value engineering, business case development, or ROI modeling. Highly collaborative style with ability to coordinate across multiple internal organizations. Enthusiasm for building in a fast‑moving, investment‑stage environment. Workday Pay Transparency Statement Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton. Base Pay Range: $164,200 - $246,400 USD. Additional US locations have the same range. This role may also be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
