Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Reflective Space Counseling Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatric staff and community agencies, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Conducting psychotherapy and intensive counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to address emotional and environmental challenges faced by clients.

• Evaluating clients’ emotional and psychological well-being, assessing their progress, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

• Facilitating educational sessions and training events for clients and community groups to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment updates as required by licensure standards and organizational policies.

• Participating in group therapy sessions, designed to foster peer support and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Referring clients to appropriate resources and services when necessary, ensuring they have access to comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by our organization range from children and adolescents to adults and senior citizens, all of whom face various mental health and substance use challenges. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with telehealth practices, and expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Therapy are highly valued. Experience in case management and community outreach programs is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
