A confidential Massachusetts-based litigation practice is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to support a busy employment and labor docket. This is a 100% litigation role with meaningful responsibility, hands‑on skill development, and a hybrid schedule designed to support sustained, high-quality work.

THE ROLE

Support and manage employment litigation matters in Massachusetts state and federal forums. Conduct high-quality legal research and apply statutory and case law to active disputes, including Massachusetts-specific statutes such as the Massachusetts Wage Act. Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and substantive motions. Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation, and settlement preparation as needed. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel and contribute to case strategy and day-to-day file management.

REQUIREMENTS

Active Massachusetts bar admission in good standing. 2+ years of employment litigation experience (candidates with less experience may be considered with exceptional research and writing strength). Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Strong legal research and writing skills (non-negotiable), including comfort with in-depth research that may require use of a physical law library. Ability to draft and manage core litigation deliverables, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice support.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND
