For more information visit: Bain Capital.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for providing world class operational support for the investor relations, finance, and fund management teams across Bain Capital Credit teamsLead all aspects of the investment operations, with primary focus on the reconciliation functions, for the Credit businesses across multiple investment strategies and asset classes: not limited to, syndicated bank loans, bonds, structured products, collateralized loan obligationsManage and oversee the day-to-day work of a global team – both internal and external teams – setting priorities and ensuring consistent quality, timeliness, and accuracy across all deliverablesBuild, manage and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners, including agent banks, trading counterparties, administrators and custodiansOwn the ongoing relationship with CLO trustees, ensuring service levels, reporting timelines, and data quality expectations are consistently metDevelop, modify and manage workflows and procedures designed to increase controls and improve efficiencyOversee the accuracy of daily/monthly reconciliation of cash and positions between internal books/records and trustee statements across CLOs and structured products, resolving discrepancies with trustees, third parties, and internal teamsLead break resolution and analysis for outstanding reconciliation items, driving timely root cause identification and remediationTrack and report key reconciliation metrics, including break volume, age, materiality, and resolution time to senior managementLead root cause analysis of data quality issues related to specific investment strategies and assetsOversee the accuracy of loan servicing activity for bank loan positions, including funding, paydowns, rollovers, and interest rate resets, by comparing internal records to trustee and agent dataOversee the accuracy of loan-level data, including spreads, maturities, and amortization schedules, maintained in portfolio accounting systems relative to agent and trustee sourcesOversee corporate actions processing, including amendments, extensions, repricings, and refinancings, affecting loan positions, validating accuracy against agent and trustee recordsOversee interest and principal waterfall calculations, validating distribution amounts against trustee calculations ahead of payment datesManage the warehouse-to-CLO tie-out process at closing, overseeing that cash and funding positions reconcile cleanly across all partiesLead operational readiness for CLO fund launches, coordinating internal stakeholders and external parties, to ensure timely, accurate closingsSupport new deal and position onboarding, ensuring static data setup is accurate and reconciled against trustee and administrator recordsEstablish go-forward set of actions for team to execute and track progress and controlEscalate and manage operational risk issues, including error tracking and remediationResponsible for staff development and coaching of all direct reportsCandid and transparent communication with direct reports and management teamDESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION8 - 10+ years of experience in a complex financial services industryPrior Management experience within Credit Operations requiredBS or BA with finance and accounting basicsExperience with Bloomberg and other trading and settlement software platformsFamiliarity with legal documents and credit agreementsExperience in Advent Geneva preferredGENERAL QUALIFICATIONSDetail-oriented, conscientious and energetic professional with ability to think creativelyStrong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels both internally and externallyAbility to prioritize responsibilities and work under strict deadlinesStrong problem-solving skillsDedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skillsSolid Microsoft Excel skillsCompensation: Expected Annual Base Salary $120,000 - $130,000Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
