East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals, two collaborative sister practices in Klamath Falls, Oregon , are seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team as Co-Medical Director alongside Dr. Carolyn Whitaker.

About the Role


As Co-Medical Director, you'll partner with Dr. Whitaker to help lead two companion animal hospitals located just six miles apart. Your focus will include:

• Mentorship and development of veterinary team members
• Supporting hospital culture and employee retention
• Promoting high-quality patient care and client service
• Identifying opportunities for hospital growth and innovation
• Collaborating on medical standards and best practices

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Full-time preferred
• Four 10-hour days ideal

Qualifications


Required

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Minimum of three years of clinical veterinary experience

Preferred

• Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
• Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
• Strong mentorship, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven adaptability, initiative, and team-building abilities

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
