Medical Assistant Certified

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) provides clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced primary care clinic setting. This role involves assisting healthcare providers with patient care activities, managing patient flow, and supporting team-based care across multiple clinic locations. The MA-C must be certified and have experience in Family Medicine, Adult, Pediatric, or Internal Medicine outpatient settings. Responsibilities:

• Assist clinicians with patient examinations and procedures.
• Manage patient intake, including vital signs and medical histories.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical equipment.
• Support documentation and charting using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff.
• Float between Downtown Seattle and Central Seattle clinics as needed to support staffing.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide seamless patient care.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential required.
• At least 6 months of experience as an MA-C in Family Medicine, Adult, Pediatric, or Internal Medicine outpatient settings.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment.
• Must reside within a 30-mile radius of the clinic locations.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in Internal Medicine outpatient settings.
• Previous experience working in a multi-provider clinic environment.

Special Considerations:

• This is a temp-to-hire position; candidates must be willing to join the clinic permanently if offered.
• Floating between two clinic locations may be required depending on staffing needs.
• No weekend or on-call duties required.

Scheduling:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week.
• No weekend shifts.
• Contract length is 13 weeks with potential for permanent hire.
