Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, age-appropriate assessments and implement interventions tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and stability of clients in distress.

• Engage in regular consultations with an interdisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies for patient care.

• Lead support groups for parents focusing on therapeutic techniques to assist with challenges such as adoption and the impact of prenatal substance exposure.

• Conduct developmental evaluations of children, offering temperament counseling for parents to better understand their child's needs.
\n
• Document interactions and maintain compliance with Department of Mental Health billing and paperwork requirements.
\n
• Implement evidence-based practices, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the varying needs of both children and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will serve a diverse client base, addressing a range of issues including familial conflicts, addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and gender identity challenges. You will work primarily with families and individuals who are navigating complex emotional and situational dynamics. Each session aims to empower clients, equipping them with the skills they need to overcome their challenges and improve their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• An active and appropriate California license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
