Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract - COMPLETION BONUS

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing environment regain or improve daily skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role offers hands-on clinical experience and the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and document according to facility and regulatory standards.
• Client-specific requirement: experience with ADL training, therapeutic activities, and durable medical equipment recommendations.
• Client-specific requirement: ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geriatrics and post-acute care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the local region as needed.

Impacting Patient Care


Provide skilled occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing environment. You will assess functional needs, create and modify treatment plans, deliver therapeutic interventions, and document patient progress. Work collaboratively with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and case management to support discharge planning and continuity of care.
