Laboratory Medical Support Clerk II

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.49 - $28.59 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Provides a variety of clerical duties to support the laboratory staff in ensuring laboratory services are completed in a timely manner. The primary responsibility is to support the laboratory staff in clerical duties such as but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, receiving specimens and updating billing information for clients.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Basic typing and computer skills

Preferred:

• Minimum of 6 months related medical setting experience
