We are seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting, payroll, administrative for the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and supporting both financial operations and employee processes in a fast-paced service and construction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with accounting and office administration, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Key Deliverables Own the month end accounting close Monthly financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP and delivered accurately and timely Position Responsibilities Ensure accounting of month-end close responsibilities are completed timely; ensure financial statement integrity, including balance sheet account reconciliations Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address AP/AR-related inquiries and discrepancies Ensure proper job costing of projects and service work according to GAAP Prepare WIP schedule Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations and coordinating with external auditors to ensure successful engagement Support team with key strategic and process improvement initiatives including new financial technology implementation Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or HR support experience Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, and administrative processes Certified payroll experience is a plus Construction or service industry experience preferred Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, Simpro, or similar ERP systems preferred Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and customer service mindset Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $75-90k, based on experience Benefits Include Retirement: 401k eligibility per company plan after 12 months of employment.
