Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years of college education required; 3 years strongly preferred (aligning with Ed Tech III requirements)
• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in a school or educational setting

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with faculty, students, and parents
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in general and special education settings
• Assist lead teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and materials preparation
• Supervise students both in and out of the classroom, promoting a positive learning environment
• Implement individualized instructional and behavioral plans as directed by certified teachers or school staff
• Document student progress and collaborative notes as needed
