Company Description Company Description: Ordnance Holdings, Inc. (OHI) is a small, Hub Zone-certified business headquartered in Maryland that specializes in unexploded ordnance (UXO), military munitions, and counter-improvised explosive devices (C-IEDs). The company provides specialized research, technology development, and test and evaluation services, as well as Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) actions. With over 15 years of experience, OHI supports munitions and explosives-related projects and programs for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to join our team. This role will support all aspects of human resources operations, from onboarding to benefits administration, with a focus on maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring smooth HR processes. Qualifications Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and regulations Understanding of union operations, labor agreements, and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) Familiarity with federal and state labor laws, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and OSHA requirements Previous HR experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with HRIS systems, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and provide weekend coverage when needed Familiarity with I-9 processing, payroll documentation, and benefits administration Knowledge of unemployment insurance processes a plus Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
