Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or similar setting
• Familiarity with classroom routines and best practices for supporting teachers
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, approachable manner
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing situations, and model positive behavior
• Team-oriented mindset and dedication to student success
• Relevant certifications or completion of paraprofessional training (preferred but not required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and managing student engagement
• Provide individualized attention and support for students who need extra help
• Supervise small groups within the classroom or during activities
• Help implement instructional strategies designed by educators and support creation of a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere
• Perform routine tasks such as taking attendance, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean learning space
• Foster inclusivity and respect among all students
