Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certifications are a plus
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students of diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication skills and a patient, caring attitude
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to classroom needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to teachers and students, including individual or small group assistance
• Assist in implementing lesson plans, classroom activities, and reinforcement of learning concepts
• Help manage classroom behavior and encourage positive student participation
• Support students with special needs according to their learning plans
• Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and families as needed
• Assist with supervising students during recess, lunch, or transitions
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervising staff
