Salary: $50,000 - $75,000/yr + benefits, depending on experience, flexibility for the right candidate
Type: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate payroll reports
- Collect employee timesheets and enter data into the payroll system
- Prepare payroll and coordinate with an external payroll processing service
- Prepare and submit client invoices; ensure timely payment of bills
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end reconciliation
- Reconcile payroll taxes, 401(k), and bank accounts
- Research and resolve payroll or accounting discrepancies
- Generate financial reports by collecting and analyzing account data
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance and accurate financial processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 35 years of experience using ADP, ideally ADP Workforce Now
- Experience processing weekly, multi-state payroll
- Experience working with multiple legal entities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage financial records
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $75,000.00
