Job Summary:
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging using appropriate kV and mA techniques, ensuring equipment calibration and functionality, and adhering to radiation safety guidelines. You will inject patients with radioactive materials as per physician orders, maintain patient records, and perform quality control and assurance tests. Additionally, you will order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses, assess patient needs, and follow prescribed protocols to ensure accuracy and uniformity in procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• New York State License (L.R.T)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of CT experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• None specified

Additional Information:

• Follows ALARA principles for radiation safety
• Maintains and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation
• Observes department documentation policies and complies with regulatory requirements
