Summary
The Offices Services Clerk is responsible for maintaining office supply inventory throughout the facility, restocking all breakrooms, vending machines, boardroom and CEO's office. Acts as the Receptionist, covering phones and greeting visitors. Assists clients with copier issues and contacting vendor for service, provide general office support when needed throughout the facility, handling all incoming/outgoing mail throughout the facility, handling all incoming/outgoing packages throughout the facility, providing courier runs on a daily basis. The Office Services Clerk will also be responsible for all facility keys and responding when needed to unlock offices or other rooms when needed.
- Maintains and stocks office supply inventory throughout facility.
- Restocks all required areas throughout the facility.
- Serves as the Company Reception, answering calls and greeting guests.
- Provides oversight assistance to client staff regarding copiers on property and calling for service when needed.
- Provides general office support to various areas of the facility as needed.
- Performs daily mail duties including package deliveries and courier services for the facility.
- Strives to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintains necessary paperwork daily.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting.
- Multi-tasking abilities in dealing with several projects at one time.
- Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Sound judgment
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to organize tasks to ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Maintains a close working relationship with Account Manager and co-workers.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellence verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling any complaints/situations.
- Knowledge of switchboard console and customer service skills preferred.
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to write.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.
- Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment,
- etc.) or mail processing equipment
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
- The ability to lift approximately 25lbs.
