Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Iowa

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. No weekend coverage (facility closed Saturdays and Sundays). Holiday coverage assessed individually based on surgical volumes.

Highlights:

• Primarily caring for post-procedural surgical patients with typical stays of 1-3 nights
• Patient mix includes cath lab patients and occasional ER overflow as needed
• Night shift position with no Saturday or Sunday shifts
• Holiday scheduling determined based on surgical volumes and facility needs
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations in a surgical recovery setting

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Iowa or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Experience in post-surgical care, medical-surgical nursing, or similar acute care setting preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
