Robert Half is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to support a high-performing intellectual property team. This is a unique opportunity to join a sophisticated practice handling both U.S. and international trademark portfolios in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with trademark prosecution, maintenance, and docketing systems, along with the ability to support attorneys with high-volume portfolio management.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Hours : Full-time; Standard Business Hours
Compensation: $45-$60 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: 3+ months with a potential to extend
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international trademark applications , including ongoing prosecution and maintenance
- Handle filings through USPTO, WIPO, and international jurisdictions
- Maintain and update trademark dockets using AltLegal
- Monitor deadlines, renewal requirements, and portfolio activity across multiple jurisdictions
- Draft and coordinate correspondence with clients, foreign counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with TTAB matters , including oppositions and cancellations, as needed
- Review and organize specimens and supporting documentation
- Support attorneys with portfolio reporting and status updates
- Provide presentation and branding support using tools like Canva (for basic materials and internal/external presentations)
Qualifications
- Prior Trademark Paralegal experience required (law firm experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AltLegal (required)
- Experience managing both U.S. and international trademark filings and maintenance
- Strong understanding of USPTO processes and global trademark procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; experience with Canva or similar tools for presentation support is a plus
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
