About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product and Technology to serve as a senior executive, bridging the gap between product strategy and engineering execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the technology stack, product roadmap, and innovation pipeline, with a focus on driving revenue and market differentiation. This role involves managing teams of product managers and engineers to develop products and technology that meet customer needs, particularly in the areas of protective headborne systems for military, law enforcement, and first responder customers. The VP P&T will also be a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of business strategy and ensuring the company's continued leadership in innovation. Candidates for the VP P&T position at the company should have over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in managing product and engineering teams, preferably within a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment. The role requires a proven track record in bringing complex hardware or software products from concept to industrial production, as well as expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly with ITAR, federal cybersecurity standards, and military manufacturing specifications. The ideal candidate will be strategically minded, commercially astute, technically credible, and possess exceptional communication skills. They must also be U.S. citizens, with the ability to qualify for a top-level security clearance, and demonstrate a range of personal characteristics including being customer-focused, innovative, and results-oriented.
