Why You'll Want This Job Work only 4 days a week enjoy more time off Direct hire no temp period, immediate benefits potential Consistent 1st shift hours no nights or swing shifts Clean, organized, modern shop Room to grow your machining skills What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and setup sheets Load materials (bar stock) and monitor machine performance Install and adjust cutting tools, guide bushings, and tool holders Perform tight-tolerance inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Complete in-process inspections and documentation Identify and report defects or machining issues Perform routine machine maintenance (coolant, oils, lubrication) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What You Bring Experience operating or setting up lathes Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and understand blueprints and tolerances Experience with precision measuring instruments High attention to detail and commitment to quality Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, tolerances) Willingness to learn and grow within the role Bonus If You Have Experience with tight-tolerance machining Multi-axis CNC or Swiss machine background Troubleshooting and minor program adjustment experience Apply Today!
