Med Surg Nurse Day/Nights Faulkner

Schedule: 36-hour Day/Night rotation, every other weekend & holiday commitment. 7 North. The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts responsible for planning and providing care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The RN effectively manages patients by assuming full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and reports directly to a designated nurse manager or supervisor. The RN also assures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice. Qualifications BSN required. Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required. BLS required. Medical/surgical/telemetry experience preferred. Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards. Demonstrates analytical thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. Demonstrates observational skills and ability to set priorities. Can function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates effective skills in applying hospital standards in service area, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.
