Veterinary Technician

Position Details Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour Schedule: Monday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holiday hours. Responsibilities Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures Provide compassionate nursing care from patient admission through discharge Administer medications, vaccines, treatments, and fluid therapy as directed Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostic testing Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs throughout surgical procedures Maintain accurate medical records while supporting exceptional patient care Qualifications Experience as a Veterinary Technician; licensed technicians are encouraged to apply Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring Experience assisting with surgery and providing high-quality nursing care Safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint techniques Knowledge of preventative care and vaccination protocols Excellent communication skills with clients and teammates A positive attitude, reliability, and passion for veterinary medicine Benefits Financial Benefits A flexible approach to compensation that reflects your skill set and future performance 401(k) matching & Roth Retirement Savings Plan Flexible Spending Account (full-time only) 529 Savings Plan Tuition Support Program (full-time only) Referral Bonus Program Wellness Benefits Health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision (full-time only) Supplemental insurance, including accident, critical illness, hospital, short- and long-term disability, legal plan, and employee, spouse, and child life insurance (full-time only) Up to three weeks of full pay for the birth or adoption of a child (full-time employees only; available after one year of service.
