Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting results.
• Communicate evaluation findings and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs, while adapting to changes in the patient's condition and healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consulting as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely, maintaining clear records of progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Manage your schedule effectively, adhering to productivity expectations and attending meetings punctually.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing initiatives that promote service access and raise awareness of rehabilitation resources.
• Contribute to department goals by participating in quality improvement projects and complying with relevant regulations and standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development through education, research, and mentorship, including potentially serving as a clinical instructor for students.
• Enhance patient experience through a flexible approach to care, adapting procedures to accommodate different needs and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Advanced Injury Treatment Center, you will primarily treat outpatient clients who have sustained injuries or require rehabilitation due to various conditions. Our patient population includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and other chronic conditions. You will be responsible for developing targeted treatment strategies with a strong emphasis on achieving optimal recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with diverse patient demographics and a variety of rehabilitation techniques will be advantageous.
