Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care UnitAmerican TravelerLeonardtown, Maryland, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-11-09$1,915.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit/IMC night shift position requiring PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience and at least one completed travel assignment.Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMC) of a hospital settingNight shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15IMC patient ratio of 1:4Every other weekend coverage required, with weekend assignments directed by unit based on operational needsFloat required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed, which carry a 1:5/1:6 ratioActive RN license (MD or Compact) requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications required2 years of recent PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required within the last 7 yearsAt least one completed travel assignment required for considerationMust pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythmsExperience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, and oxygen administration preferredExperience with central and peripheral line care, IV therapy, and phlebotomy requiredExperience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry monitoring requiredExperience with heparin protocols, cardiac drip management, and IV insulin protocols requiredExperience managing feeding tubes, isolation precautions/PPE, and renal/dialysis-related care requiredTeaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferredPrevious charge experience preferredProvide direct patient care to progressive/intermediate care unit patients, including cardiac monitoring and respiratory managementFlu vaccine required for all employees at this facilityLocal candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay ratePrevious MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a travelerNo more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignmentFirst-time travelers are not eligible; at least one completed travel assignment is required
