Job Profile: Accounts Payable Clerk
\nReporting To: Accounting Manager
\nLocation: Miami, FL
\nEmployment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
\nPosition Summary: Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. \n
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. \n
- Processes invoices from our third-party logistics provider (3PL). \n
- Pays vendors; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; Applying credit memos against open AP invoices; \n
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions; \n
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions; \n
- Reconciliation and verification of Suppliers/partners’ account statements; in constant touch with partners to ascertain records accuracy; Sends payment recaps to suppliers/partners; \n
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. \n
