This role involves providing specialized patient care in a unit that manages neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, and post-operative care for adult patients. The position requires flexibility in floating between units and working night shifts.

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Location: Not specified (general facility environment)
• Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Qualifications: Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Up-to-date resume documenting at least 2 years of experience in IMCU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and travel history. Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR). Drivers licenses with matching address are required.
• Experience requirement: 0 years minimum experience, with at least 2 years in IMCU/PCU preferred.
• Additional information: The unit includes 64 beds with 15 designated neuro beds, managing complex neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory cases including COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative care. Equipment used includes Temp pacers, Chest tubes, Art Line, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo. The unit handles patients with chronic vents, requiring assistance from respiratory therapy.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
