Unlock growth opportunities in a supportive, fast-paced environment.Job DescriptionOverviewJoin a leading organization as a Staff Accountant, driving financial accuracy and operational excellence in a fully remote role.Utilize your accounting expertise to support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance with GAAP standards.Leverage analytical skills to develop reports and support external audits and compliance reviews.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency and maintaining robust internal controls.Engage in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.Benefit from professional growth opportunities within a supportive and innovative team.Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end/year-end close processes effectively.Review and reconcile credit card transactions and accounts receivable records accurately.Develop and maintain detailed reports for financial analysis and reporting purposes.Prepare schedules and gather documentation for external audits and compliance reviews.Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and operations teams for accurate financial reporting.Research and resolve cash application transactions to ensure financial accuracy.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to internal controls.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.CPA Candidate or CPA Eligible is preferred for this role.Minimum of 2 years of corporate accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with NetSuite ERP and BILL software is advantageous.Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and external audit preparation is essential.
