Every other weekend and holidays as required. Block scheduling options may be available (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).Highlights:\n \n Work in a busy 54-bed state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center treating over 60,000 patients annually\n Comprehensive emergency services for all age groups with a highly trained multidisciplinary team\n Patient ratios range from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for other patients\n 91-day assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week\n Opportunity to gain diverse experience with float requirements to other units\n Biweekly orientation with 16 hours of non-billable onboarding\n Requirements:\n \n Active Alabama or Compact state RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)\n Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required\n Minimum 18 months of RN experience working under highest professional license level; 2 years preferred\n At least 1 year of Emergency Department or specialty experience\n Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required\n Must pass Dysrhythmia Basic exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)\n Willingness to float to other units and facilities as needed\n Proficiency with Meditech charting system preferred\n Why Join Us?\n This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume trauma and stroke center where you'll provide critical care to diverse patient populations.
