Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to understand client needs and develop tailored therapy plans.

• Facilitating individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as communication breakdowns, conflict resolution, and emotional distress.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting session progress and treatment outcomes.

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to enhance overall client treatment and outcomes.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at My Possibilities, you will work with diverse groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to suit their unique backgrounds and specific needs. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An active and valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy, demonstrating proficiency in clinical techniques and methodologies.

• A strong ability to build rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding to foster a therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n
