Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in treatment-planning meetings, where you will give and receive valuable feedback regarding student progress and resistance.

• Identify and mitigate conflicts or resistance within your work with clients, offering interventions that help clients recognize and overcome non-productive behaviors.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate patient records rigorously, ensuring compliance with social work standards for assessments, plans, and communication with outside agencies.
\n
• Exhibit a deep understanding of the DSM diagnostic criteria relevant to disorders in children and adolescents, along with knowledge of human development stages and their implications.

• Utilize evidence-based practices including behavior modification techniques, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy tailored to meet individual needs.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient and family situations, employing effective interviewing techniques and collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Regularly establish and revise personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, integrating the client’s psychosocial needs, strengths, and cultural values.

• Design and facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions that address common issues faced by students and document their progress and responses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and their families who may be facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. With an emphasis on early intervention and preventive care, you will help guide children through their developmental stages while addressing any mental health conditions that may impact their academic and personal lives. By collaborating with schools, you will ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed in their educational journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Candidates must possess a current and valid LCSW license to practice independently in California.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Demonstrated capability in maintaining professional boundaries and ethical guidelines with clients.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and documentation requirements effectively.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 annually for this full-time role, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
