About the Role:
Join NEW ENGLAND WOOD FLOORS INC as an Office Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our dynamic team in Pembroke, MA. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to a company known for its exceptional craftsmanship and customer service in the hardwood flooring industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations and ensure efficient administrative processes.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for the team.
- Handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Maintain organized filing systems and manage office supplies inventory.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation.
- Support the team with data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the construction or flooring industry is a plus.
- QuickBooks experience a must.
