Marketing SpecialistThe Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the Marketing and Communications team with the ability to think big picture while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This role will assist in overseeing and implementing the overall marketing strategy. The Marketing Specialist will specialize in planning, managing, and executing marketing projects to support the bank's growth initiatives. The role will support in-branch marketing requests as well as bank segment campaigns. The role will also be responsible for collaborating with sales, operations, and other internal departments along with external agencies and business partners.United's Marketing and Communications team is filled with passionate and creative marketers and thinkers. The team serves to increase brand awareness, promote product and service adoption, and drive continued growth across our markets with external marketing and works to cultivate an exceptional culture through internal communications.What You'll DoSupport the implementation of strategic marketing plans and monitor progress to ensure strategies are successfully rolled outManage campaign development and execution from start to finish, to include intake, project management, scheduling, system set-up and reportingCommunicate and execute on all marketing plans for assigned projectsDevelop schedules, outline tasks and projects, maintain deadlines, and proactively communicate with key stakeholders on next stepsEnsure marketing projects align with budgets and timelinesLead and participate in meetings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to keep projects on track and provide updatesCollaborate with creative team and other subject matter experts within the bank to generate and proof content for use across multiple channelsAssist with managing marketing vendor relationships to include, but not limited to, ad agencies, design firms, web developers, print vendors, etc. to ensure that service levels are maintained and that the quality of work is highManage and maintain branded material requests and inventory in Supply Room and DAMAssist with sales and marketing duties as neededEnsure all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance trainingOther duties as assignedRequirements For SuccessBachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications studies or a related field5+ years of experience in a corporation or an agency, supporting marketing/ project management strategy or as an account executiveExperience and knowledge in communications, project management and agency managementAbility to work effectively at a quick pace while exhibiting exceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask, have strong communication skills and business knowledgeExperience running cross-functional projects with large teamsCollaborative team player with positive attitude and sound judgmentValues strong working relationshipsSelf-motivated, confident, energetic, and creativeExcellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferredSome travel requiredParticipate in all required regulatory and compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.Conditions Of EmploymentThis is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
