Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current, valid Kansas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Experience working with school-age children in a school or pediatric setting
• Knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and special education law
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in PreK-12
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain detailed documentation and student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Consult with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate promoting student confidence and success
• Provide training and resources to staff and parents as needed
