Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office, which is designed to foster a healing and motivating atmosphere. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and facilities that enhance patient treatment. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, offering flexibility with start times around 8 am or 9 am and concluding by 4 pm or 5 pm. You will work alongside a team of professional healthcare providers dedicated to collaborating and improving patient outcomes in a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health, incorporating patient history and functional status to create customized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrotherapy to relieve pain and enhance recovery.
• Educate patients and their family members about their conditions and treatment plans to empower them in their recovery process.
• Participate actively in clinical instruction, mentoring interns, students, and fellow staff while contributing to ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to establish cohesive care plans and adjustments based on patient progress.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and may engage in clinical research projects to enhance therapeutic practices within our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Restore Strength, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population facing orthopedic challenges stemming from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be crucial in guiding patients through recovery, transitioning them from initial assessments to rehabilitation, ultimately helping them return to their daily activities or competitive sports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a passion for improving patients' lives.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, showcasing advanced knowledge and expertise in the field.

Compensation and Benefits
