Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with various pain-related conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of medical procedures, such as joint injections and other interventional techniques, ensuring they are executed with precision for optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with specialists and case management teams to facilitate effective discharge planning and post-discharge follow-up, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
• Engage in active communication with referring physicians and accept patient referrals, providing expert consultation as required for hospital admissions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that aligns with insurance requirements and diligently handle appeals for any coverage denials to minimize patient financial burden.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed, effectively managing both inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.

The patients you will serve encompass a diverse range of individuals seeking relief from chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and post-operative pain management. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• An active Physician Assistant license within the state of New York is required for this role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and effective treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary range of $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
