Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including taking detailed medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests to understand the severity and nature of patient pain.
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians, ensuring they align with the patient's specific health goals and conditions.
• Execute interventional pain management techniques, such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks, under the supervision of a physician, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, making necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide in-depth education to patients regarding effective pain management strategies, including medication protocols and lifestyle modifications aimed at improving their quality of life.
• Engage in collaboration with a range of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and psychologists, to design a comprehensive pain management strategy that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of pain.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population suffering from various pain-related conditions, including post-operative pain, chronic back pain, migraines, and neuropathic pain syndromes. Our focus is on empowering patients to take an active role in their pain management, fostering a supportive environment for their healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to cultivate a compassionate bedside manner and build trusting relationships with patients.
• Ability to thrive both in independent settings and as part of a highly collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
