HR Generalist - Learning and Development

The HR Generalist - Learning and Development is responsible for employee learning and training programs; organizing, facilitating and tracking training programs for Harvey Cleary employees. Duties and Responsibilities Evaluates, Modifies, and Creates engaging training materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, and instructional guides in collaboration with the training committee and internal stakeholders. Trains and coaches managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts. Coordinates training logistics by scheduling sessions, reserving and preparing training rooms and audiovisual equipment, distributing materials such as handouts, and completing related support tasks. Plans, organizes, facilitates, and orders supplies for employee development and training events. Ensure all training records, certifications, and documentation are maintained and up to date. Collaborates with managers, HR, and employees to identify skill gaps and training needs, using surveys, performance data, and feedback to guide program development. Monitor and analyze training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and key performance indicators, adjusting to improve outcomes. Modifies programs as needed. Administers spending against the departmental budget. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field of study required. 2+ years of experience in training and development is required 2+ years of experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
