Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Location: Charlotte, NC, 28216 (Hybrid Schedule , 2 to 3 days onsite)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Marketing automation and CRM-based campaign promotion

What You’ll Do

• Help build the annual U.S. and Canada customer education plan under the direction of the Customer Education and Field Events specialist
• Project manage live and virtual training events that support In-Building, Data Center, and Carrier sales
• Develop or source class content and marketing materials with engineering and marketing subject matter experts
• Schedule classes and coordinate logistics with distribution branch managers and sales engineers nationwide
• Work with engineering teams to build and maintain product samples and equipment for classes
• Set up event registration, promotion, and post-event reporting in event software
• Build promotional campaigns through social media, marketing automation, and inbound and outbound outreach
• Maintain certification and program education records, and report on program results
• Manage the customer education budget and relationships with outside suppliers
• Provide basic support to program members, and help organize program databases and processes

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or an equivalent degree with marketing experience
• 2 years in marketing, communications, event planning, or a related field
• Hands-on experience planning events or classes, including registration and logistics
• Experience promoting events through email, social media, or marketing campaigns
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and the ability to work onsite in Charlotte 2 to 3 days a week

Preferred / Bonus

• 1+ years coordinating or delivering training
• Basic knowledge of fiber optic networks
• Cvent or Splash event software
• Marketo and Salesforce
• Webinar platforms such as Adobe Connect or WebEx Event Center, and SharePoint
