This position is ideal for someone with broad HR experience who enjoys solving problems and building processes. There is currently limited HR infrastructure, so we need someone who can look at the current environment, identify what is missing, prioritize needs, and take ownership of implementation. You won't be expected to have every answer on day one, but you should know how to assess an HR problem, determine the appropriate solution, communicate your recommendation to leadership, and carry it through to completion. Responsibilities include: Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures Review existing HR practices and identify process or compliance gaps Help evaluate, select, and implement an HRIS Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding Maintain accurate and compliant employee records Manage I-9 documentation and employment eligibility requirements Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment Support employee relations and workplace concerns Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities as needed Assist with performance management processes Maintain HR documentation and reporting Support development and maintenance of employee handbook and policies Ensure HR practices align with applicable employment requirements Partner closely with executive leadership on HR needs Communicate policies and HR initiatives effectively to employees and managers Take ownership of HR projects from identification through implementation Serve as an approachable and dependable HR resource for employees Qualifications 3+ years of broad Human Resources experience preferred HR Generalist, Senior HR Coordinator, HR Specialist, HRBP, or similar background Experience implementing or improving HR processes HRIS implementation or system migration experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of employment compliance and HR best practices Experience with onboarding, I-9s, employee documentation, benefits, and employee relations Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and operate effectively without an established HR playbook Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable interacting directly with senior leadership Ability to identify problems and take initiative rather than waiting for direction Bachelor's degree preferred but not required SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
