Commercial Roofing SuperintendentFarha Roofing — an award-winning, family-owned company — is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead our commercial production team in Kansas City.If you're a strong leader with commercial roofing experience, take pride in delivering high-quality work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to grow with a company that values integrity, teamwork, and excellence.What You'll Do:Oversee all commercial roofing production from start to finishManage and support subcontractor crews, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and efficiencySchedule projects and coordinate materials, deliveries, equipment, and manpowerConduct job site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codesServe as the primary point of contact between subcontractors, Project Managers, vendors, and customers when neededMonitor project timelines and ensure work is completed on schedule and within scopeTroubleshoot job site challenges and implement solutions quickly and effectivelyReview and manage change orders, job costs, and project progressLead and participate in production, scheduling, and safety meetingsEnsure proper jobsite documentation, reporting, and communication throughout the project lifecycleDrive continuous improvement in production processes, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking For:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)Commercial roofing experience required (Superintendent or similar leadership role preferred)Experience with commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal roofing preferredStrong leadership and subcontractor management skillsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to read blueprints, scopes of work, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirementsComfortable climbing ladders and working at heightsAbility to lift up to 80 lbs as neededStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyTech-capable (smartphone, apps, basic computer systems)Must pass a drug and background checkBackground Check RequirementBecause this position involves driving, handling materials, and access to job sites and company property, successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment. Certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on job-related criteria, including safety, driving responsibility, and protection of company and customer property.
