TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Dayton, Ohio, 45409!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, critical care experience preferred License: Active state RN license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment - Vent experience required - Telemetry experience required - Ability to start IVs - Comfortable floating based on the job description Description: Unit specializes in patients with burn injuries, muscle flaps, and head and neck surgeries. This population is both ICU and advanced care. Travel nurses utilized in the critical care population. Wound nurses will complete extensive burn wound dressings. Agency nurse will not be asked to perform burn dressings. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing according to the unit's needs. Floating is expected based on staffing and patient needs. Travelers will float to other areas as necessary. Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Modification or cancellation of shifts may occur due to low census. Candidates must complete lab work and EKG assessments within specific timeframes after signing the contract. References are not required. Candidates must have no past license disciplinary action. Epic charting experience is required. The role involves caring for ventilated patients and telemetry monitoring.
