Job Title: Benefits Coordinator

Assignment Type: 4-week Contract (Potential Extension)

Pay: $30 – $35 / hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to provide immediate support to the HR team during a transition. This role combines benefits administration, leave management, and compensation support, with a strong focus on projects and process improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-state environment and has hands-on experience with ADP and employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, HRA, COBRA, and ACA.
• Manage benefit enrollments, life event changes, and employee benefit inquiries.
• Support disability, FMLA, leave administration, and unemployment claims.
• Utilize ADP HRIS to process benefits and maintain employee records.
• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices using advanced Excel.
• Conduct new hire benefits onboarding and employee education.
• Assist with annual open enrollment.
• Support compensation initiatives, including salary benchmarking, job descriptions, salary structures, and reporting.
• Analyze compensation and benefits data and prepare reports for leadership.
• Assist the HR Director with special projects and additional HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HR experience focused on benefits and compensation.
• Strong background in Benefits Administration, Leave Management, and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
• Hands-on experience with ADP HRIS.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with compensation analysis or salary benchmarking preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient, customer-service mindset.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

• Interview Process: One virtual interview with the HR Director and HR Manager

Work Breakdown:

• 50% HR projects & process improvements
• 30% Benefits Administration
• 20% Leave Administration
