Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-impact Billing Strategy & Design team for a leading enterprise client. This role will focus on documenting and analyzing business and system requirements, leading discovery sessions, and serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Business Analyst will support projects from early concept through implementation, contributing to critical initiatives that directly impact enterprise billing systems and operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale, business-critical projects while working alongside an innovative and collaborative team. This is a 7 month contract, hybrid (4 days onsite/1 remote) in Stamford, CT and has a pay range of $45-50/hr.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in project discovery calls with stakeholders
• Author, revise, and maintain BRDs and supporting documentation
• Document internal systems and processes (JIRA workflows, intake processes, etc.)
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business u and engineering/development teams
• Identify, document, track, and report system issues
• Provide documentation support across the entire project lifecycle
• Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, emails, BPMO calls, and limited HR-related tasks

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong experience authoring and maintaining Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Proven ability to translate business needs into formal technical requirements
• Experience working across the full SDLC (project definition through implementation)
• Hands-on experience with JIRA
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PC-based applications
• Strong stakeholder communication skills; ability to act as a liaison between business and engineering teams


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Background in billing systems, strategy, or design
• Telecom background
• Experience supporting BAU projects in parallel with project work
• Experience with BDSI project intake processes
